The project brief was to create an adaptable modern extension for our clients family home which not only extended the footprint but strengthen the properties relationship with its surrounding garden. The design integrates modern architectural elements with the character of the existing property, together with natural materials such as timber cladding and large glazed panels create the desired strong connection between the interior and the garden, allowing ample natural light and enhancing the sense of space.

Clean lines and minimalist finishes complement the rural context without overwhelming it, whilst the landscaping is thoughtfully designed to blend with the local environment, featuring native planting that adds seasonal interest and supports biodiversity. The project seeks to demonstrates a sensitive approach to modern living, balancing functionality with aesthetic appeal while respecting its historic surroundings.
